Generally, if the rear washer jet isn't working, it'll be one of three causes: 1) The washer fluid is low. 2) The jet is frozen. 3) The jet is blocked. My wife's Fiesta had a very similar problem. I could hear the pump running and the washer bottle was full.
Inspect all connectors and pins for any signs of corrosion and/or water ingress. Check the circuit board of the BCM for signs of greenish corrosion. If every thing looks OK then use a multimeter and start checking the wiring from the wiper switch to the connector of the BCM.

You can either run a powerwash hose into the filler cap or remove the pump and clean the filter. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk.
Rain-sensing windshield wipers use an infrared sensor located near the rearview mirror that detects moisture on the windshield. It activates the wipers to help increase driver visibility. Once the system is turned on, there is no need for the driver to activate, deactivate, or adjust the wiper speed under normal driving conditions.

Just spent a couple of hours trying to fix this. First I jacked the car up, took the driver-side wheel off and removed the panelling around the wheel to get to the bottle, however I couldn't get to the pump or the pipes very easily still so I decided to put it all back together and try the switch/lever.
5. Blocked hose. In rare cases, a dirty or pinched hose can be responsible for windscreen washer system malfunction on Ford Mondeo. To diagnose, first open the hood and pull the end of the hose out of a windshield washer nozzle, and then turn on the washer system. You should see the fluid gushing out of the hose.
3. Pump doesn’t engage when you activate the system. The washer pump makes a distinctive sound when you trigger the windshield washer fluid to spray onto your windshield. If you press the button and don't hear anything, and no fluid sprays onto your windshield, this indicates that the pump is broken or is not receiving electrical power.
I have a new Fiesta (2009 Zetec). The front screen wash does not squirt onto teh windscreen when I push teh button on the stalk in and I cannot hear the pump on the screen wash tank 'buzzing' either. But I can hear the pump buzzing when I full the stalk back to activate the Rear screen wash which works fine.
