The inertia switch ( fuel cut off switch ) is located behind the trim on the passenger front kick panel between the floor and the lower dash. It is a spring loaded button that you press downwards to reset, if tripped. Look inside the opening and you will find a red button. Push in to reset. This is called the inertia switch. Which was designed to cut off your gas source to your vehicle in a collision. If you do not find it there refer to your owners manual. Once it starts , if it cuts out again easily replace the switch. There is also a fuel pump shutoff relay under the hood on the left firewall, and a relay on the right fender but when i connected it up to the cars plug for the electic fuel pump no fuel was or is being sent . could it be 1.a fuse or solenoid 2.a ecu fault 3.the TPS (there is no glowplug light flashing ) 4.that the Fuel shut off switch is on (if so is it a toggle type or a push down lock type -and do i have to remove the rubber cover 5.something else Location: Lakewood, Ohio.
